UAE airline brings premium travel experience closer to Kansai region
DUBAI: Emirates has officially launched its first dedicated travel store in Japan, located in the heart of Osaka’s bustling commercial hub.
The new space brings the airline’s renowned hospitality and service closer to customers in the Kansai region, offering a high-end environment for personalised travel planning.
The opening was led by Nabil Sultan, Executive Vice President – Passenger Sales and Country Management at Emirates, and attended by Mr Hirofumi Yoshimura, Governor of Osaka Prefecture, and Shihab Alfaheem, Ambassador of the UAE to Japan. Senior Emirates officials, media partners, and distinguished guests were also present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Emirates Travel Store in Osaka
Covering 110 square metres, the Emirates Travel Store is designed with modern luxury in mind. The space features soft beige lounge chairs and sleek furnishings, creating a relaxed, welcoming setting.
Customers are assisted by multilingual consultants offering tailored support for flight bookings, travel advice, and curated itineraries.
A self-service kiosk and a personalised Queue Management system streamline the process further, while a selfie mirror featuring iconic destination backgrounds adds a fun, interactive element.
The Osaka Travel Store, located at 3-2-2 Umeda, Kita-ku, is open Monday to Friday from 11:00AM to 1:00PM and 2:00PM to 7:00PM, with a one-hour midday break. It remains closed on weekends and public holidays.

Addressing attendees, Nabil Sultan said, “Japan is a vital market for Emirates, and today’s opening reflects our commitment to building even deeper connections with our valued customers and partners here in the Kansai region.” He reaffirmed the airline’s focus on customer-centric experiences and meaningful engagement with the local community.
Emirates currently operates daily flights to three Japanese cities: Osaka Kansai, Tokyo Narita, and Tokyo Haneda. These routes are served by retrofitted aircraft featuring upgraded products.
